UBit PCIe Risers with power LED Good quality units, with all the components installed on the printed circuit board (PCB). Some of these risers are missing several components, as a cost savings move. The extra capacitors should help with power filtering. All six risers worked out of the box, which is more than I can say for others that I have bought. Each board has three types of power: PCIe 6-pin, Molex and SATA. I hate molex, so with they would have just dropped this. Newer Power Supply Units (PSU) don’t have as…

Solid risers with a fantastic LED feature. These risers come packaged and appear no different than any other risers I have used in the past. After opening them is where you start to notice the difference. They are slightly skinnier than normal risers and have a few different options for powering them. I choose to use the 6 pin power connections which they come with. They are slightly heavier than a typical riser and overall feel to be a better quality. I did notice they come equipped with 3 capacitors instead of the standard 4, I am not…

Same as the rest, but have had one failure so far One went bad after just less than a month of use, thats to be expected with these, but I’m pretty sure the microcontroller that interfaces with the motherboard is what failed. it would not show up in the UEFI menu as having a GPU docked, but the GPU was powered on. Its a little disappointing that they would use such cheap semiconductors because the semiconductor never reached high temperatures and all the visible traces and solder joints look fine. There was a lot of flux on the board when it…
