cgminer: Zadig: SETUP INSTRUCTIONS 1. Install driver 2. Plug power brick into AntMiner U3 before plugging power brick into wall 3. Plug power brick into wall 4. Connect USB cable from AntMiner U3 to computer 5. Open Zadig and click “Options -> List All Devices” 6. Select CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller, and then click “Install Driver” 7. Run cgminer with the following parameters (remember to replace “-o XXX -u XXX -p XXX” with your own information): cgminer.exe –bmsc-options 115200:0.65 -o XXX -u XXX -p XXX –bmsc-voltage 0800 –bmsc-freq 1306

    Nice for learning about mining – but you’re not going to turn a profit Of course, this is just to learn more about mining. It’s too late in the game for this to ever turn a profit. I was awarded a $75 gift card from work so this only cost me about $10 out of my own pocket.The miner is hooked directly to a Raspberry Pi B+.     Buyer Beware Short version: You’re not going to get 63GH/s out of the box.Read the forum posts about the U3 before you start doing the math on whether this device is for you. These are my own findings and experiences. If you use a third party mining tool, you’re probably going to get 4 (four) GH/s. Then you’re going to look around, and find a lot of other people have the same problem. You’re going to find the author of bfgminer and possibly cgminer complaining about the quality of the code…

    very good miner, version 2 better than version 1, open design, for better air flow and cooling. very easy to set up, getting 58.5 GH/s plus with the default settings. no volt/freq options in the command line. using cgminer version 4.9.0….running windows and this is how it was installed…..just go to this web site and down load zadig to and download 4.9.0, version 4.9.1 doesn’t work at this time.plug the power cord into the power brick, plug the power brick into the U3 and then plug it into the outlet…
